25 years in Hollywood

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker have been married for 25 years, longer than almost any couple in Hollywood.

And in a sweet moment on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Broderick declared that he knew his wife was ‘the one’ the “first time I met her” as Cohen, a long-time friend of Parker’s, asked questions about their relationship.

While the couple married in an Episcopal ceremony, Broderick’s mother was a descendent of Jewish immigrants from Germany and Poland. The actors are currently starring together in the Broadway show Plaza Suite.

It’s the first acting project the duo has done together since How to Succeed in Business in 1996.

Broderick shot to fame in the legendary 1986 teen movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
