B’nai B’rith Courage to Care celebrated its 30th anniversary last week with a VIP night and exhibition hosted by the Ark Centre.

More than 100 guests enjoyed the celebrations, hearing from guest speakers, Race Discrimination Commissioner Chin Tan (pictured right) and Gandel Foundation CEO Vedran Drakulic, as well as emotional stories and testimonies from Holocaust survivors.

“The work of Courage to Care has a profound role in teaching us to be better people and to care about making the world a better place in the beliefs and practices shared in the values of tikkun olam,” Tan said.

Courage to Care CEO Mike Zervos (pictured left) closed out the evening saying, “It was so wonderful to be able to celebrate our first 30 years with many long-time supporters and also welcome some new friends to better understand who we are and how we can potentially work together.

“We have a lot to do, but with the support of the community we are confident we can continue to make a real difference.”
