500 days
500 days since 1200 Israeli souls were murdered in cold blood – including entire families, soldiers in their beds and young adults dancing the night away – simply for being Jews.

Next Monday will mark 500 days since the barbaric Hamas-led rampage of October 7, 2023.
500 days since 1200 Israeli souls were murdered in cold blood – including entire families, soldiers in their beds and young adults dancing the night away – simply for being Jews. 500 days since 251 people were kidnapped into the dungeons of Gaza, where 76 still remain.
Those who have returned from Hamas’s terror tunnels have recounted harrowing stories of beatings, humiliation, psychological torture, malnutrition and other evils about which we may not yet know. Others were murdered in captivity, such as Hersh Goldberg-Polin, whose brave parents Rachel and Jon feature in this week’s edition.
And who could not be horrified at the appearance of Eli Sharabi, Or Levy and Ohad Ben Ami as they emerged emaciated from their hell? Who could not be absolutely heartbroken to learn Sharabi didn’t know his wife and daughters were murdered on October 7, and that he was looking forward to seeing them?
We do not yet know the fate of Shiri Bibas and her two beautiful boys Ariel and Kfir, after Yarden Bibas was released earlier this month. And now the fragile deal is at breaking point after the evil monsters of Hamas said they will delay the next round of hostage releases.
Donald Trump’s plan for the US to “take over Gaza” may be unrealistic in practice and his plan to relocate Gazans controversial.
But one thing is clear: the evil savages of Hamas cannot be left in power. Nor can the apparent radicalisation of much of the Strip’s population be ignored. Many Gazans are not the innocent victims of Hamas; they are its accomplices.
But the sad reality is that Gaza has become what it is because the world has let it.
The corrupt UN and Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA are culpable. The Red Cross ignored the hostages and let them rot. Governments around the world, including ours, have unduly pressured Israel while innocents are held in Hamas dungeons. Human rights groups have shown they are anything but. Media outlets have falsely equated Israel and Hamas or uncritically repeated the terror group’s narrative.
Shame on every single person or entity that participated in this circus of bias, ignorance and in some cases, frankly, Jew-hatred.
