FOLLOWING the success of the previous two LaunchPad Leadership programs, Australian Jewish Funders (AJF) has just announced a third cohort.

The initiative is an online course open to senior professional and lay leaders of all life stages, from across the diverse Jewish landscape.

The three-month course offers expert facilitation, guest speakers, masterclasses, leadership labs and virtual programming, as well as access to a network of fellow leaders.

Co-chair of AJF Justin Greenstein said, “If you hold a current management or board position in a Jewish communal organisation, have a growth mindset and are looking to connect with like-minded peers, apply to be part of this transformative journey.”

Applications to enrol close on March 27 and the program is set to begin on April 26.

The virtual program promotes and builds a culture of leadership development and connection, blending Jewish values with technical skills to ensure a vibrant and thriving Jewish community in Australia. The themes that are explored in the program include design thinking, scenario planning, communication and leadership presence, organisational strategy and culture, as well as fundraising.

Recalling the success of the previous cohorts, Greenstein stated, “One of the greatest achievements of the program has been stimulating collaboration across organisations and cities, strengthening Jewish life.”

With the course being delivered virtually, people from all states and territories are able to apply. The program is jam packed and requires two hours a week of online programming, one hour a week of offline reflection, five hours on a Sunday, and further reading and preparation for the coming week’s session.

Michelle Fischl, board member of J Connect and program alumna shared, “LaunchPad Leadership was an amazing few months of learning and exploration. Every session was unique, interesting, insightful and contributed to my knowledge and personal growth. I feel more confident and connected to my community than ever before.”

Fellow alumnus Joel Lazar who is the CEO of the Jewish Climate Network told The AJN, “The network of people LaunchPad Leadership assembled was like no other – thoughtful and intelligent people who all want to make a lasting difference.”
