The Australian Jewish News (AJN) plays an integral part in keeping the community informed and up to date. Part of The AJN’s importance is its continued role in the marketing and communications strategies of communal organisations and businesses.

This is evident in The AJN‘s decade-long history with the United Israel Appeal (UIA) across Melbourne and Sydney.

“The AJN is an institution, and provides a platform for many voices in our community to be heard in an unbiased manner,” said Carli Dvash, marketing and events manager and Jenna Ungar, marketing and communications manager at UIA.

“The UIA uses this platform to advertise campaign events, to drive fundraising for our projects, and to share the impact our donors have on beneficiaries. The AJN has also provided editorial content, including interviews and op-ed opportunities for our guest speakers, to raise awareness of our activities and events.

“We have also always taken advantage of the opportunities presented via The AJN‘s supplements – in both advertising and editorial capacities – to showcase our core projects to the community,” said Dvash and Ungar.

An example of an AJN exclusive for the UIA was announcing president Reuven Rivlin’s visit to Australia and his role as the keynote speaker for UIA’s Keren Hayesod-UIA’s 100th anniversary in 2020. “The wraparound cover and subsequent ads and editorial launched our campaign events with president Rivlin and included in-depth content on the history of the organisation,” said Dvash and Ungar.

“The AJN is always open to receiving our content and attending our events … and highlights us as a valuable organisation”.

A staple in many Jewish homes, The AJN continues to provide exclusive and in-depth coverage for events and celebrations put together by the many dedicated Jewish organisations in Australia.
