Bankstown Hospital nurses threaten Israeli lives
Following vile threats against Israeli patients made by two New South Wales medical staff, an urgent investigation has been launched by NSW Health and the police

A social media post showing what appear to be two New South Wales medical staff making threats against Israeli patients has sent shock waves through the Australian Jewish community.
The pair, who have ben identified by the Daily Telegraph as Ahman ‘Rashad’ Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh, are under urgent investigation after saying the video that they would refuse to treat or even kill Israeli patients.
The pair go on to claim they “won’t treat” Israeli people, before Abu Lebdeh said “I’ll kill them” in the video.
Nadir is then filmed saying “You have no idea how many Israeli dogs came to this hospital” before running his hand across his throat.
They make the threats whilst wearing NSW Health-branded scrubs.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park has condemned the incident, describing the comments as “vile, dehumanising and unacceptable.”
“They made me sick to my stomach,” Park said. “I have asked NSW Health to launch an urgent investigation to identify the individuals and they have also referred the matter to NSW Police.”
The minister said if the investigation confirms this behaviour, “these individuals will no longer be working for NSW Health.”
David Ossip, President of the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies (JBD), described the rhetoric as “deplorable,” adding that it has no place in the healthcare system.
“That anyone feels comfortable spewing this hatred while wearing NSW branded scrubs is sickening,” Ossip said.
The JBD is seeking urgent advice from Federal Health Minister Mark Butler and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority, maintaining that no healthcare worker who holds these views should be registered in Australia.
Alex Ryvchin, co-chief executive of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, expressed horror at the footage, describing it as “utterly sickening to watch.”
“Their unrepentant, gleeful hatred is the precursor to the violence we are experiencing in our country, and it must be stamped out,” Ryvchin said.
“They must be identified and removed from any scenario in which they could give effect to their threats and their murderous intent.”
Alon Cassuto, CEO of the Zionist Federation of Australia said, “Health professionals, who take an oath to do no harm, threatening to kill and send Jewish patients to hell in our hospitals should send a shiver down the spine of every Australian. While we thank the NSW Government for their swift action, this is just another example of the systemic Jew-hatred that has infiltrated every sector of Australian society.”
The Community Security Group (CSG) NSW is also investigating the video after receiving numerous reports from concerned community members.
