An award double header

Beth Rivkah Ladies College is pleased to wish mazal tov and recognise high-achieving students Chaya Glasman and Aliza Kingsley, who received Premier’s Awards for their outstanding VCE results in 2023.

Glasman was recognised for her excellence in Psychology and Kingsley was awarded for he achievements in Text and Traditions.

The awards recognise the effort invested by the students and are a testament to the teaching staff at Beth Rivkah.

On receiving her award Glasman commented, “Having received a Premier’s VCE Award was a very humbling feeling.

“I feel so grateful for my teacher Ms Kimberly Mordech who patiently guided me throughout the year and to my parents who have given me so much support throughout my school journey.

“I also have such great friends at school who have helped make my experience such a positive one.”

Aliza Kingsley.

Kingsley said, “I want to thank Beth Rivkah Ladies College for equipping me with the resources and skills to thrive in this subject and for teaching me what it’s like to work hard.

“I really couldn’t have done it without the support of my incredible teacher, Mrs Yamit Glasman, for her unwavering dedication and support, alongside the drive of my fellow

classmates who always push one another to be better, while also making the VCE environment enjoyable and fun.”

Head of school, Beruria Tenenbaum added,

“We are so proud of our students’ achievements, as they balance the rigor of their Jewish and VCE studies with their volunteering and communal activities, to achieve these outstanding results.”
