Arsenal star wins kosher shopping voucher at London school raffle
According to a report doing the rounds among Jewish supporters of the north London club, Martinelli has won a $A185 voucher to the UK kosher supermarket chain Sheffa Mehadrin.

Arsenal’s Brazilian soccer star Gabriel Martinelli got an unexpected assist with his Passover shopping this year.
According to a report doing the rounds among Jewish supporters of the north London club, Martinelli has won a $A185 voucher to the UK kosher supermarket chain Sheffa Mehadrin.
Reports say an enterprising student from the Shalom Noam primary school in the Edgware neighbourhood was selling raffle tickets on the road where Martinelli lives and convinced the Brazilian winger to buy a ticket.
Martinelli then emerged as the surprise winner of the first prize.
The player, it bears noting, is not Jewish, but he’ll hopefully enjoy his kosher shopping regardless.
