Melburnian Aviva Sokolov has won this year’s Rosh Hashanah card competition.
The Leibler Yavneh College year 6 student said was inspired by a design she saw in The AJN a few years ago, “And so I decided to make my own version.”
She said she was “very happy” to be told she had won.
Asked what Rosh Hashanah means to her, she replied, “Spending time with my whole family … and getting very sick of honey!”
Sokolov said her favourite subjects at school are music and art.
As for what she would like to do when she graduates, she replied, “Hmmm … maybe a musician … and a lawyer.”
