Children at Emanuel Woollahra Preschool (EWP) took advantage of the recent hot weather in Sydney by swapping the classroom for the beach.
The preschool’s Beach Kinder program encourages children to enjoy the many benefits of spending frequent, uninterrupted time in nature.
“Bringing nature into the hearts and minds of our preschool children is deeply embedded into our program,” said EWP director Bev Smusko.
“EWP connects children to nature by taking them on a regular basis to Clovelly Beach and Centennial Park, where they are able to explore nature, express themselves freely and develop a curiosity and wonder of their world.”
