MORE than 300 people attended the induction ceremony of Rabbi Ian Goodhardt as chief minister of Blake Street Hebrew Congregation earlier this month.

Rabbi Philip Heilbrunn, a supporter of the congregation and friend of Rabbi Goodhardt, welcomed the spiritual leader.

The Blake Street choir entertained guests as did the newly formed pre-bar mitzvah boy choir established by incoming assistant minister Rev Samuel Altschul.

A reception with food and drinks followed the induction ceremony.
