BONDI personal trainer Ronni Krongold is the tribe’s great hope on Channel 9 dating show Love Island, which began screening last week.

“I want to do Love Island for my own enjoyment. You look at the setting, and you have hot girls in a villa and then go on exotic dates. That’s kind of what I do in my life anyway,” he said.

The 21-year-old of Ukrainian ancestry studies commerce and works at a gym, but finds plenty of time to fraternise with the ladies.

“When I am feeling and eating well, I like to set up a few dates during the week,” he said.

“It depends on how many girls I’m speaking to and how many I’ve met. Usually before lockdown I would go to a bar and get phone numbers and I could set up lots of dates.”

Krongold said he’s come on the show with “an open mind”.

“I know I’m not going to rush into a relationship because I don’t feel I need one,” he said.

“The relationship for me has to be something that I enjoy more than being single, which is a lot. So if I do get into that relationship, then I know it’s real.”

Asked if he thinks he’ll do well on the show, he replied, “If I’m going to be brutally honest, yes.”

Good luck Ronni.
