UNCONVENTIONAL times call for unconventional measures, and indeed, Chabad Young Professionals’ Rabbi Pinny Super (pictured right) is not letting a pandemic stand in the way of Succot.

Taking to the roads in his Succah-mobile – an artistically decorated succah erected atop the back of a truck – Rabbi Super is just one of a number of Melbourne rabbis who are bringing the joy of Succot to the people this week.

“It’s been really heartwarming and exciting to see everyone enjoying the succah and the celebration of our traditions despite the circumstances,” he told The AJN.

“It gives me immense joy and happiness to be able to bring the mitzvah to the people, at their homes, and it adds a unique personal element that is really special.”
