Mazel Tov to Mount Sinai College student Zoe Rabinowitz on her outstanding achievement of winning a Bronze Award in the 2023 WriteOn competition.

Rabinowitz’s winning narrative, “Bush Kid” tells the story of Ashley, an adopted child, and tackles big themes, including the discovery of his birth family and how to navigate through life changes.

Out of a pool of 640 entries from over 300 schools, Rabinowitz emerged as one of just 18 Bronze award recipients.

The WriteOn competition is an annual event open to NSW students in years 1 to 6.

It provides a platform for young talents to become published authors and demonstrate their creativity by composing an imaginative piece of writing limited to 500 words inspired by a given image stimulus.

“Zoe’s success is a testament to her exceptional writing skills and creativity and highlights the impactful work being done at Mount Sinai College in nurturing young talents,” said Mount Sinai.
