Camp Gan Izzy’s Byron debut

Over 15 children attended the very first Camp Gan Israel summer camp held by Chabad Byron Shire

History was made earlier this month with the first Camp Gan Israel summer camp held by Chabad Byron Shire.

More than 15 children attended the camp, organised by Chabad shluchim of Byron Shire, Rabbi Tomer and Inbar Rachel Ben-Harosh.

Experienced youth directors Hodaya Peretz and Chana Reicher came from interstate to run the exciting program, which was filled with fun and educational activities.

“Despite the challenging COVID period, parents were thrilled for the day camp and cannot wait for the next one to take place,” Rabbi Ben-Harosh said.
