Carlton keep Bild-ing with Ally

Former AJAX juniors, Ally Bild and Mia Zielinski, are continuing to fly high in the VFLW and NAB League respectively.

Bild was selected earlier this month as Carlton’s VFLW captain for the second straight season.

Carlton’s VFLW head coach Tom Stafford said it was “clear the playing group have full confidence in her as a leader”.

The Blues had a first round away loss to Geelong last week, but will look to bounce back this Saturday against the Southern Saints.

Zielinski, 16, scored three goals for the Sandringham Dragons in their latest NAB League U18 girls’ match against Eastern Ranges.

After a bye last week, the Dragons will host the Western Jets this Sunday.
