COOKING WITH UIA

Celebrity chef in the house

Israeli celebrity chef Moshe Segev will deliver a Shavuot-inspired online cooking demonstration for the community on Tuesday, May 26 at 8pm.

UNITED Israel Appeal (UIA) recently launched its first online cooking event with Israeli celebrity chef and television personality Moshe Segev.

More than 600 supporters tuned in from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and beyond on the Zoom webinar as Segev demonstrated four of his signature dishes for participants to cook themselves or simply relax and watch along.

Owning five award-winning restaurants across Israel and cooking regularly for the Prime Minister, Segev brings culinary combinations from around the world to the Israeli kitchen.

UIA will be hosting future online cooking events with other renowned chefs, with details to be announced shortly.

In the meantime, Segev will deliver a Shavuot-inspired online cooking demonstration on Tuesday, May 26 at 8pm.

UIA CEO Yair Miller said, “The feedback we are receiving from the range of unique and exciting online events and lectures UIA is holding has been so gratifying.

“Keeping our UIA global family connected during these unprecedented times has been the priority for us and the results so far have been remarkable. It is great to see the community responding so well to the usual first-rate UIA events – only now moved online!”

UIA is also offering additional initiatives to connect with the community, including weekly online Israel Updates for NSW supporters on Tuesdays at 1.30pm.

Miller and shlichah Jasmine Malul provide an in-depth analysis of the latest events in Israel with the opportunity for Q&A sessions, with special guests often joining the webinar.
