Create a lasting legacy this Charity Wills Week
Every gift in a will, even as little as one per cent of an estate, can help support Israel's national priorities through UIA's wide-reaching programs
United Israel Appeal (UIA) is continuing its partnership with Safewill, one of Australia’s leading online will-writing platforms, helping supporters create a legacy that protects their loved ones and strengthens the future of the people of Israel.
As part of Charity Wills Week, running until May 25, UIA supporters will be able to draft a legally binding will at no cost for a limited time. In doing so, they can put their values into action, gaining peace of mind for their families while also leaving a lasting gift to Israel through UIA.
A will is one of the clearest ways to ensure that your wishes are honoured and your loved ones are cared for. It is also a way to express what matters most to you beyond your lifetime. For many in our community, that includes helping safeguard the future of Israel and the wellbeing of its people from generation to generation – l’dor v’dor.
Every gift in a will, even as little as one per cent of an estate, can help support Israel’s national priorities through UIA’s wide-reaching programs. These include aliyah and absorption, mentoring at-risk youth, caring for the elderly, supporting victims of terror, helping families in crisis, and strengthening long-term post-war recovery through initiatives such as the Rebuilding Israel Fund.
Launched as UIA’s long-term national recovery initiative, the Rebuilding Israel Fund is helping rebuild people, rehabilitate families and communities, and restore resilience where it has been most deeply shaken. It reflects the scale of the challenges Israel now faces and the need to think not only about immediate relief, but about the future that must be secured from here.
