Criteria for the Awards
Nominations for the Top All-Round VCE High Achiever category are based on study scores from the most recent academic year and the previous years.
The annual Premier’s VCE Awards recognise students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
Nominations for the Top All-Round VCE High Achiever category are based on study scores from the most recent academic year and the previous years.
Nominations for Study Awards and the Top Three International Students are based on the most recent academic year study scores.
Each year, individual Graded Assessment scores are used to determine the top group of students for each VCE study award.
The number of Study Awards in each subject is based on the number of enrolments in that subject.
The 2023 Premier’s VCE Awards also include six awards for Outstanding VCE Vocational Major Student Achievement selected through a nomination and judging process coordinated by the VCAA.
At the award presentation ceremony held on July 17, 2024, a total of 332 awards, including 23 Top All-Round VCE High Achiever Awards, recognised the exceptional dedication and hard work of 310 students during the 2023 VCE.
More than 1000 guests attended the prestigious ceremony, where Victoria’s top-performing 2023 VCE students were recognised for their outstanding academic results.
