Real estate was always our passion, we dedicated our time to learning about the market – buying, selling, flipping and developing homes – until eight years ago when we decided to open the doors of BuyEast,” said founders and directors of award-winning buyers agency Mark and Nicky Cadry.

With a sharp focus on Sydney’s eastern suburbs, known internationally as one of Australia’s most competitive real estate regions, the BuyEast team has grown considerably to service clients over the years with insightful opportunities and in-depth knowledge of the area and the property purchasing process.

“Over just eight years’ time, we have grown our husband-and-wife business into a successful team of 12 experts who are all equally passionate about helping our clients find their next home, while delivering the high-end service that we strive to achieve.

“Our aim was always to help and guide people through one of the hardest decisions and largest purchases that most people will have to make throughout their life,” explained the Cadrys.

A well-deserved win

While awards and accolades were never the driving motivator behind the BuyEast team’s outstanding service, a recent recognition and title awarded to the business at the 2021 Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) Awards for Excellence virtual gala evening brought huge smiles to the team.

“Every year the REINSW hosts the Awards for Excellence, a prestigious and respected industry event for which we have qualified as finalists for numerous years. Every year we strive to achieve more, and every year the bar is set even higher. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would grow and succeed to be the best in the business,” said Mark.

“With so many deserving nominees, it is with a lot of gratitude that we are thrilled to announce that we, BuyEast, are the winners of the prestigious award Buyers Agency of the Year!”

Reflecting on a truly unique year that was, REINSW president Leanne Pilkington gave kudos to organisations like BuyEast that thrived through the many challenges faced in the past 12 months.

“We were delighted by the number of entrants into the Awards for Excellence this year which has been increasing year on year. We again received the highest number of entries ever, following one of the most challenging years in the history of the industry due to the pandemic as well as the strong market which until now shows no signs of slowing down,” said Pilkington.

“This year, the entrants set the bar even higher, showing us such a huge amount of talent and strength reflected in our great industry. With so many deserving nominees, choosing the top professional and agency for each category, was extremely tough. Those who received a winner’s trophy should be incredibly proud of their achievement,” added Pilkington.

Reflecting on their win, the Cadrys credit their achievement to the entire BuyEast team, and their clients who they look forward to working with every day.
