This significant statistic underscores the importance of a new initiative as part of Hatzolah’s expansion into preventative care for the growing community.

Hatzolah Melbourne is excited to announce a new partnership with Better Health Network (BHN) to offer fall prevention clinics to the community.

BHN is a leading health service provider delivering comprehensive and integrated care to communities through innovative programs and partnerships designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families.

This collaboration aims to support individuals at high risk of falls by providing specialised, small weekly group clinics over eight weeks designed to prevent accidents and promote safety.

A pilot program facilitated by Nathan Goldberg, a qualified exercise physiologist, has already seen several community members participate with remarkable success, significantly reducing their risk of falls and improving their overall confidence and mobility.

“This partnership is a crucial step in our mission to enhance community health,” said Josh Wonder, Hatzolah Melbourne’s general manager. “By equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge to prevent falls, we are not only improving their safety but also their overall quality of life.”

Hatzolah remains committed to enhancing the health and safety of the community through proactive and innovative health initiatives. Together with BHN, the organisation is looking forward to making a significant positive impact on the wellbeing of those at risk of falls.

The next information session is on Monday, August 26, from 9.30am to 10.30 at Hatzolah Headquarters,

320 Orrong Road, North Caulfield.
