Two Jewish athletes won 2021 Sport NSW awards last week.

Tokyo Olympic gold and bronze medal women’s canoe slalom winner Jessica Fox was crowned joint winner, with swimmer Cate Campbell, of the Athlete of the Year award.

It was the first time there has been equal winners of this award since it was established in 1994.

And swimmer Matt Levy, who at his fifth Paralympics in Tokyo won a gold and a bronze, was named Athlete of the Year with a Disability.

It’s the second time Levy has won the award.
