Fox shows her Panthers pride
She is a Penrith girl through and through, so it was no surprise that Jewish Olympic canoe slalom champion Jessica Fox was sporting a Panthers banner and jersey at last Sunday’s NRL grand final at Accor Stadium, where she was one of 82,415 footy fans.
Just before the Panthers beat the Eels 28-12, Fox posted on Facebook “Big night for the west! Let’s go Penrith Panthers”.
Afterwards, in pure Panthers delight, she commented “Hehe”, adding a smiley face, and a panther paws emoji.
It was the Panthers’ second NRL grand final win in a row, and their third straight grand final appearance.
