Friendly rivals enjoy clash

IT was a case of being rivals on the day, but friends for life, when current Emanuel School student Jonah Trope, and Emanuel School graduate Jake Greenberg, played against each other in a second grade match on Saturday, November 20.
Batting first for UNSW, Greenberg – who will play for English club Cowdrey in April – scored an unbeaten 49 runs off 35 balls to help his team reach 4/249.
Easts could only make 9/215 in reply, but Trope made a respectable 26 runs off 44 balls before losing his wicket.
