4me gluten free owner Yinon has more than 20 years’ experience in the baking industry. For over a decade he ran a successful gluten free baking business overseas, exporting his goods worldwide. When migrating to Australia in 2012 with his young family, Yinon began baking in his kitchen. Soon his friends and family commented on how delicious and exceptional his products tasted.
Based on the amazing feedback and the limited variety of gluten free options available, Yinon took the leap and began selling his products to local shops and delicatessens. Before he knew it, the time had come to elevate his passion and move out of the family kitchen. The 4me gluten free retail outlet in Elsternwick came to fruition.
In March of this year, 4me gluten free was officially Coeliac Australia Accredited. This was extremely important to the business as it provided the assurance customers needed – that they were able to eat ALL products with confidence.
Yinon’s vision was always, and remains, to enhance customers’ options for taste and provide fresh gluten free, nut free and dairy free products for everyone to enjoy – not just that one child, or one person who suffers from certain allergies or intolerances.
“I want to provide good quality cakes that don’t differentiate between those who may have food intolerances and those who don’t. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the sweet things in life,” he said.
Product offerings continue to be expanded, and the team is constantly testing and developing new recipes and products. Already 4me gluten free has expanded to include fructose friendly and low FODMAP options and, in the near future, there are plans to extend the menu further to include sugar free options. The team continues to surprise and delight customers with new products and ideas for customers to enjoy.
