Grandma Moses helps farmers

KOSHER bakery Grandma Moses will donate 100 per cent of its turnover on Sunday, November 24 to NSW farmers affected by drought.
Owner Manfred Freinkel told The AJN, “We live in the city and we have no comprehension of how tough it is on the land.
“The only way it affects us is if prices of meat, flour, etc. go up slightly – we have no idea about the devastation.”
Freinkel encouraged members of the community to support the initiative and spread the word.
“They must bring a lot of money, I’m going to try get as much money as I can – all to a good cause,” he said.
“It doesn’t hurt to give and it will make someone else’s day a little bit easier.”
Money raised on the day will be distributed via Rural Aid.
