Honours Club hosts Sydney property experts
The pair shed light on the seeming resilience of the eastern suburbs housing market despite media predictions of a decline in house prices, explaining that the delay in releasing research data could contribute to outdated information presented in the media.
The Australian Friends of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem held a hugely successful May Honours Club meeting, with guests hearing from real estate agent Peter Leipnik from Bradfield BadgerFox, and buyer’s agent Leon Jacques from Cohen Handler.
Leipnik and Jacques led an engaging discussion about the Sydney property market, sharing insights and stories centring around the current state of eastern suburbs real estate.
As a real estate agent with over 30 years of experience, Jacques is a property strategist and buyer’s agent at Cohen Handler, while Leipnik is a real estate agent. Having successfully co-founded BadgerFox, Leipnik merged with industry veteran Bob Guth to create Bradfield BadgerFox in 2022.
The pair shed light on the seeming resilience of the eastern suburbs housing market despite media predictions of a decline in house prices, explaining that the delay in releasing research data could contribute to outdated information presented in the media.
They emphasised the importance of considering the present circumstances rather than relying solely on past data.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to hear form both a real estate agent and a buyer’s agent, who could provide a well-rounded perspective on issues.
The event evolved into an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the chance to exchange interesting opinions and ideas. The Australian Friends of the Hebrew University, as Hebrew University’s affiliate office in Australia, is responsible for the development of an alumni program, and the growth and development of the Young Friends of the Hebrew University group. The Friends of the Hebrew University office organises and runs regular social, political and educational events.
The Honours Club will host Woollahra councillor Isabelle Shapiro, mental health advocate, community activist and former mayor of Woollahra, at its next meeting on Wednesday, June 28.
