Jewish Care Victoria is compiling a register of new and quality used goods that can be donated to flood affected families. Distribution of items will be arranged once families assess and identify their needs. Those wishing to donate new and quality used goods, including household products, Judaica, furniture and electrical items should email floodrelief@jewishcare.org.au

Jewish Aid is raising money to send to the Premier’s Disaster Relief appeal and to two Aboriginal communities in northern NSW, Toomelah and Boggabilla. Jewish Aid has been working in these communities for the last five years on the Derech Eretz program. 15 volunteers will travel to the communities this week to assist recovery efforts.

Jewish House, in conjunction with The AJN, Our Big Kitchen, Chabad of RARA and Queensland Jewish Community Services will present Ark Aid, a special concert to be held on Tuesday February 8 at the Scientia at the University of New South Wales.
