Ian Thorpe will share his experience as one of the most successful sportspeople in Australia at the Jewish House gala dinner on November 13.

FORMER Olympian Ian Thorpe visited Jewish House last week ahead of his keynote address at the organisation’s fundraising gala dinner on Wednesday, November 13.
Thorpe is pictured with Rabbi Mendel Kastel of Jewish House, who remarked, “It will be great to have Ian speak about his life and the work he is doing in bringing awareness to bullying and issues around mental health which fits very much with what we do at Jewish House … Ian is very much a man who is committed to helping others.”
He said Thorpe “took such a keen interest in what we do at Jewish House”.
The gala is being held at the International Convention Centre with media personality Gretel Killeen as the MC.
