After launching their successful fundraising campaign last year, Hatzolah is once again urging members of the community to hit the ground running … or walking … with their second Hatzolah 100 challenge.

The goal is for participants to run or walk a total of 100km by February 28, to raise money for the first response service.

Progress can be tracked with a pedometer, smart watch or a smart phone, although those who want to go old school can record their kilometres with pen and paper.

Hatzolah 100 is the brainchild of avid runner and father of six Josh Slonim, whose wife and unborn child were saved by the emergency responders in 2018.

The organisation has set its sights on raising $25,000.
