ADAM Sandler has been asking his fellow Jews to follow in his footsteps and record a Chanukah song. Now, Canadian singer-songwriter Haley K Turner has answered.

Inspired by a recent plea from the actor for “someone out there” to write a new song about the festival, Turner – a mother of two – created “Intangible Things (A Hanukkah Song)”, featuring a string orchestra and lyrics completed at the end of the northern winter earlier this year.

But wait, there’s more! Since Sander asked for the song, Turner decided to make sure he knows about it.

To that end, she wrestled a ferocious alligator in her “Happy Gilmore Parody Video”, created a tutorial on “How To Get In Touch With Adam Sandler” and even recorded a parody of her very own song.

It may take a miracle to get Sandler’s attention but if Chanukah has taught us anything, it’s that miracles do happen.

The song is out now on all streaming services.
