JNF Australia’s major campaign for 2024 is focused on Healing Israel’s South.

It embodies JNF’s unwavering commitment to a healthy, strong and resilient future for Israel and its people.

This campaign follows JNF’s impactful Emergency Campaign after October 7, 2023, and marks the next crucial phase in supporting the communities devastated in October and the ongoing war.

Using the very effective model of JNF’s Emergency Campaign, it will continue to directly fund projects that provide essential facilities and services to address the serious psychological and mental health challenges faced by our southern communities.

In addition, funds will support communal infrastructure projects to rebuild and enhance the communities in the south.

JNF aims to make the region even more vibrant than before, to encourage families to return and to attract a new generation to settle there.

Ronit Fraid, president of JNF Victoria, said, “Our Victorian donors have been intimately invested in growing and developing the wonderful communities in the south over many years.

“Their recovery is our priority, and this will help us all to heal.

“There has been no time in Israel’s history when she has needed our support more.

“The existential threat that she faces is the existential threat that faces our whole Jewish world.

“Now is the time to give our all, as our Israeli brothers and sisters are giving their all.”

JNF’s aim is to be guided by those on the ground who know best what is needed and where it is needed.

“We understand this journey will be lengthy and challenging and will need our collective voice and action to come together as one, for the People of Israel.”

JNF invites the community to be part of this journey to Healing Israel’s South, by attending JNF’s Annual Event on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with the incredible Eylon Levy.

Join JNF for a night of solidarity and support on Thursday, September 5th at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Location to be advised closer to the event.
