JERUSALEM — A group of 220 French migrants who arrived in Israel last week received their Israeli identity cards in a special ceremony at the Kotel (Western Wall) on Sunday, July 26.

Jewish Agency chairman Natan Sharansky, together with the Minister of Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landver, took part in the ceremony.

The group is among 700 new French immigrants scheduled to settle in Israel by the end of summer — a 10 per cent increase on last year.
