Launching JIFF with Greener Pastures

The Jewish International Film Festival is just around the corner. Find out what's in store for 2022.

The Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) is back for 2022, launching on Sunday, January 30 with Greener Pastures. Set around Dov who, forced by his family to move into a nursing home, turns to selling legal medicinal marijuana to try to make enough money to escape and buy his house back.

Each year, JIFF presents a fresh and diverse selection of Jewish cinema from around the world and this year’s festival, opening in March, is no exception, screening 55 feature films and a shorts package from 19 countries. Two world premiere screenings of Australian films will also feature for 2022.

JIFF will launch the 2022 festival at Classic Cinemas in Melbourne, Luna Palace Cinemas in Perth and Ritz Cinemas in Sydney.
