Maccabi FC Caulfield women’s, and junior boys’ and girls’ teams, have been training hard at Caulfield Park over the past two months in preparation for their respective 2022 seasons finally kicking off this Sunday, April 24.

Sporting their new away playing kit, the women’s firsts and reserves squads – who play in the Victorian women’s state league 1 south-east competition – narrowly lost a warm-up match by 2-3 to Springhills FC earlier this month.

Earlier, they won four trial games, including against Knox City and Ballarat City.

The Maccabi women officially launched their season on March 27 at Caulfield Park Sports Club, at a dinner and fundraising raffle attended by players, supporters and sponsors.

Their opening round match will be away versus Noble Hurricanes FC.
