Maccabi-Hakoah kids kick off with gala day

More than 200 kids enjoyed a fun-filled gala day at Easts Rugby Club’s synthetic field on February 6 to launch Maccabi-Hakoah Junior Football Club’s 2022 season, after the long school holiday break.

The club’s president, Daniel Zaidel, said it was a great way to mark the start of pre-season training for all the teams, ahead of the Eastern Suburbs Football Association junior competition kicking off in April.

“We had kids join in the gala morning as young as three in the minis, all the way up to 14,” said Zaidel.

“And we’re very excited to launch our new Maccabi Mini’s program for U4s and U5s on Sunday, February 13, which we already have 40 boys and girls registered for – these kids are the future of our club.”

Pre-season training will now commence.
