Marc Zell – Licking Ben and Jerry’s and the BDS
Maurice Klein speaks with Marc Zell, American-Israeli lawyer for Avi Zinger, owner of Ben and Jerry’s Israel, who initiated legal action in Israel and the USA against Unilever, for what, was tantamount to illegal BDS conduct against Avi Zinger by Ben and Jerry’s headquarters in Vermont, Unilever’s subsidiary. Marc outlines the grounds for the legal claim by Avi Zinger, who steadfastly refused to cave to the demands and illegal discrimination of the anti-Israel senior Ben and Jerry’s executives in Vermont. Marc explains that the matter has now been resolved successfully for Avi Zinger who now owns Ben and Jerry’s Israel in perpetuity, selling the product under Hebrew and Arabic labelling. This is an outstanding outcome for Avi Zinger, Israel, and the Jewish world, defeating pure anti-Israel, Jew-hating BDS. Well done Avi Zinger and Marc Zell, two absolute MENSCHEN. How Sweet It Is.
