Leibler Yavneh College year 6 student Yael Kwiat is the winner of The AJN‘s Rosh Hashanah card competition.
Her design, featuring apples, honey and flowers in a vase with a “Shana Tova” greeting, beat scores of entries to take the top prize.
“The Rosh Hashanah card competition is one of our favourite community engagement initiatives,” AJN national editor Gareth Narunsky said.
“We look forward each year to receiving all the entries and seeing how creative they all are.
“It’s fantastic to see the younger members of our community, who are our future, engaging with their Judaism and getting excited about celebrating the chagim.”
The design will feature on greetings sent to VIPs locally and overseas, including the Prime Minister of Australia and the President of Israel.
