US rapper and producer DJ Khaled posted an Instagram story to his 26 million followers last week professing his guy love for Sydney Jewish native Dovi Meyer.

“I wanna give a big, big, big ‘blessup’ up to my brother Dovi,” the Grammy Award winner said, the camera panning over to Meyer.

“Dovi, thank you so much for your friendship. You my friend, you know what I mean, my family love you, we love you, you good people, you know what I mean,” Khaled continued.

“We just having that cloth talk on a Sunday, the sun is out, even when the sun is not out, it’s out. ‘Cos we the sun.

“I just wanna show love to my brother Dovi, ‘blessup’.”

Meyer, a Moriah College graduate, is co-founder of Tik Konnect, a platform dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and the executive director of a US-based luxury concierge service.

DJ Khaled has released 12 albums and has had a book on the New York Times bestseller list. He is a devout Muslim.
