Mr music man releases new music
New music from Sam Green and the Time Machine.
Sam Green has always been artistic. He has loved writing poetry, creating videos and making music since he was a young child. And he’s now due to release his latest album, Odds and Ends in the Key of Life. Excited to finally be performing again, Green uses his music and poetry to inspire others.
As a young university student, Green and his friends would connect with street poets, which involved endless parties with a guitar being passed around as they regaled each other and those around them with song after song.
It’s no surprise then, that Green has spent his adult life immersed in poetry and music, with a keen focus on the natural world. Perhaps this stems from his time on school camps in the Dandenongs near Melbourne.
Always adventurous, his song writing is influenced by his poetry with powerful lyrics and evocative imagery. You truly are transported into another world when he sings.
Falling under the folk and soul musical categories, Green’s music is harmonious and expressive. Odds and Ends in the Key of Life has been arranged by Morry Parish and hopes to uplift listeners during what has been a challenging year, especially as the world emerges from the pandemic. Back Pages Revisited will be released following.
