The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (NCJWA) Victoria has announced Lisa Ezekiel (pictured) as its new CEO.

NCJWA Victoria President Helen Lewin described the announcement as “an exciting new chapter”.

Lewin spoke on behalf of the board saying they are “confident that NCJWA Victoria will be well positioned under [Ezekiel’s] guidance to thrive in the years to come”.

“Lisa’s collaborative leadership style and her ability to build strong working relationships together with her fresh and modern approach to stakeholder engagement will complement our existing strong team to deliver the strategic priorities for our organisation,” she said.

Ezekiel, who took the helm on March 28, was most recently head of community relations and fundraising at the Community Security Group (CSG), where she established a new donor wing, exceeded the annual appeal target three years running and was a member of the Victorian Jewish Community COVID Taskforce.

Ezekiel said she was excited to be taking on the role.

“I am passionate about working closely with community members, volunteers and stakeholders,” she said.

“I am dedicated to be providing opportunities for women to support one another and grow.”
