New executive team announced
Ma’ayan Granot and David Loven will lead AUJS in 2027 following its first in-person AGM since 2019.
The Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) has elected its new federal executive for 2027, following the organisation’s first in-person annual general meeting since 2019.
Delegates gathered in Melbourne from September 2-3, where they debated constitutional amendments and policy motions before electing the new team.
AUJS campaigns coordinator Ma’ayan Granot was elected president, succeeding Jeremy Suss. AUJS Victoria public affairs director David Loven was elected vice-president, succeeding Viola Bersten.
The rest of the executive team is made up of students who have been active on AUJS’ campus, regional and federal executive teams: Nadav Gozlan as treasurer, Joel Raitman as fundraising coordinator, Zoe Dalidakis as public affairs coordinator, Dustin Feldman as leadership and development coordinator, Yonah Brill as Jewish engagement coordinator, Jonah Feiglin as WUJS representative, Maya Reef as communications officer, and Alicia Lazarus as social impact officer.
Delegates also voted to bestow Honorary Life Membership of AUJS on Isaac Wakil AO z’l, whose support through the Susan and Isaac Wakil Foundation backed a number of AUJS programs, including the Susan Wakil Fellowship.
