New single for Israeli pop star Noa Kirel
She's still in the army, but Israeli pop star Noa Kirel has just released her third english-language song, 'Thought About That'.
Israeli pop star, Noa Kirel is on the promotion trail, sharing her third English-language single, Thought About That.
Just last month, Kirel was on-stage at the Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, belting out Bad Little Thing, her second international singlem which was released in October last year. More recently, she was meeting young cancer patient Aya Abecassis at the Sheba Medical Centre. The pair made a Tik Tok video, singing and dancing to Thought About That.
In March 2020, Kirel started her IDF service in a military band and was cited by The Hollywood Reporter as ‘Israeli’s biggest pop star’. She rose to fame when she appeared in Pushers, a documentary series which shows parents pushing their children in different areas. For Kirel, the show featured her dad who was financially supporting the development of her entertainment career.
In June 2020, Kirel signed a contract with Atlantic Records. Thought About That has been produced alongside a host of US-based songwriters. Kirel has been garnering lots of global attention with four MTV EMAs. She also served as a judge on Israel’s Got Talent.
Kirel said that it’s very important that she is sending the right message to young girls. “I turned 20 this year and it’s so important for my music to inspire young women to be independent and stand up for themselves,” she said in a statement, “especially in relationships.”
