Pursuing Jewish pride and global mindedness

New principal takes the helm at Masada College

It’s an exciting time for Masada College as the new principal, Mira Hasofer, takes the helm. As Sydney schools returned to eLearning, Hasofer decided to “hit the ground running”.

“Our focus is on the Jewish community of the North Shore, on the Jewish traditions, mitzvot and values that have sustained us, and on excellence in all areas of learning,” said Hasofer.

Determined to ensure that every Jewish child in the North Shore (and beyond) has access to an outstanding Jewish education, Masada has announced a Junior School fee restructure for the 2022 academic year and future years.

For a child who joins Masada in kindergarten and continues through to Year 6, there is an estimated saving of more than $13,000 during their junior school years. Additionally, Masada is offering a Jewish Life Grant to Jewish kindergarten families for 2022. The grant, when combined with the fee restructure, offers kindergarten families a saving of more than $5000 for the year.

“Our focus is on encouraging our students to be proudly Jewish, while being globally minded,” said Hasofer. “We are creating an environment in which we dedicate our minds to inquiry, our hearts to compassion and our lives to contribute to every field of human endeavour.”

Masada College invites families keen to learn more about the Masada difference to meet directly with Hasofer and the Masada Executive team.
