Sarah Game MLC – initiating a motion for IHRA acceptance in SA
Maurice Klein speaks with The Honourable Sarah Game MLC, who is the first person of Jewish Heritage in 100 years to hold a seat of Parliament in South Australia, securing the first seat in South Australia for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party, also being the first female One Nation Parliamentarian elected anywhere other than Pauline Hanson herself. Sarah has hit the ground running in parliament, proposing a motion for South Australia to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism (IHRA). Sarah has encountered opposition to the motion with surprise, surprise from the “No-IHRA for Australia” Greens, along with two Labor and two SA-Best members indicating their intention to vote against the bill, presenting Sarah with a hostile baptism of Parliament.
