ZVI Schweitzer has again been chosen to represent Australia at the Inas World Tennis Championships in Rakovnik in the Czech Republic, a tournament for players with a disability.
The 24-year-old took part in the event in 2005, 2009 and 2011, and will don the green and gold again next month to take on the world’s best.
Schweitzer plays in the winter pennant competition with the Maccabi Tennis Club and has participated in several Victorian and national championships.
Earlier in the year he won the award for the Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability at Tennis Victoria’s championships dinner and was nominated for the same award alongside Paralympian Adam Kellerman at the Newcombe Medal Australian Tennis Awards.
The Inas World Tennis Championships will take place from June 23-29.
