Secure Israel’s future today
We cannot be Diaspora Jews without a strong Israel, and Israel needs our support to be strong.
We are all part of a global family and we each have a duty to support the other. We cannot be Diaspora Jews without a strong Israel, and Israel needs our support to be strong.
Gifts and bequests through Keren Hayesod-UIA are a thoughtful way of binding your legacy to the Jewish people and Israel’s future. There’s no better way to bestow your spiritual heritage on your loved ones than by assuring the Jewish people’s continuity and helping to providing a strong future for Israel. KH-UIA is uniquely positioned to ensure 100 per cent of all bequests go directly to Israel.
KH-UIA, together with Israel’s government and the Jewish Agency, determine and deliver on Israel’s national priorities; developing Israel’s human capital and Jewish peoplehood globally, with a focus on four key areas:
- Aliyah and absorption: Providing olim with the tools necessary for long-term success in Israel. This is done by housing those in need in absorption centres, teaching them Hebrew, integrating them into Israeli society and providing professional guidance.
- Bridging social and socioeconomic gaps: Providing education, training and leadership opportunities to the disadvantaged.
- Supporting youth at risk: Providing safe havens for children at risk, and counselling and mentoring them to become productive members of society.
- Caring for the elderly: Ensuring a dignified life for Holocaust survivors, the pioneers who built the state of Israel, and elderly immigrants.
Including a gift to KH-UIA in your will ensures that Israel’s national priorities are supported into the future.
Reconnecting with Israel
UIA is hosting a virtual mission to Israel from the comfort of your own home over two evenings, on Monday, October 18 and Sunday, October 24 at 7.30pm. The mission will explore an IDF base, assess the threats along the Egyptian border, dive into the vibrancy of the shuk, hear from UIA beneficiaries, and much more.
