Snap and win in our photo competitions
Our annual photo competitions are back, with two great prizes to be won by AJN readers who submit the best holiday photo and the best sunrise/sunset shot.
OUR readers love to travel to all parts of the world on holiday, whether it’s relaxing by the pool at a tropical resort in Queensland, cruising around the Mediterranean, taking an African safari, skiing in Japan or making a family visit to Israel.
And whether the holiday was earlier this year or coming up over the summer months, here’s an opportunity to share your favourite holiday photos with AJN readers and be in the running for prizes of great Queensland holidays.
This is the 11th year that we have been running the popular competition featuring members of the Australian Jewish community on holiday.
Everyone loves a spectacular sunset or sunrise, so we have another competition for the best sunrise/sunset photo.
To be eligible to enter the competitions, photos must have been taken between February 1, 2018 and January 31, 2019 (the closing date of the competitions).
Photos will be published in online galleries on jewishnews.net.au and the finalists online and in print next February.
The entry judged to be the best photo will win a two-night stay at The Reef House in Palm Cove, just 25 kilometres north of Cairns in tropical Queensland, while the entry judged to be the best sunrise/sunset photo will win a two-night stay at Peppers Soul in the heart of Surfers Paradise in a two-bedroom apartment.
Choose your favourite holiday or sunrise/sunset photos and email them to travel@jewishnews.net.au. There is a limit of three entries per person for each competition, which is not open to professional photographers.
