Participants at UIAx 2021 on Tuesday, February 23 will be able to join in person or stream online to experience an evening of live panel discussions with renowned Israelis.

UNITED Israel Appeal (UIA) aims to accommodate every member of the community at its TEDx-inspired 2021 gala event.

Participants at UIAx 2021 on Tuesday, February 23 will be able to join in person or stream online to experience an evening of live panel discussions with renowned Israelis from a variety of fields. Supporters can choose which sessions they would like to attend, with something for everyone.

Topics range from Israeli politics, security and innovation; to the Israeli food scene, futurism and Abraham Accords and antisemitism in the Arab world.

Guest speakers include author, chief behavioural economist and professor Dan Ariely, former Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni, former Israeli deputy prime minister Dan Meridor, IMPACT-se CEO and former political reporter Marcus Sheff and celebrity chef and restaurateur Meir Adoni.

All speakers will be streamed live and the in-person event will include complimentary food, live music and more.

“We understand that everybody has different comfort levels at this turbulent time and feel strongly about the importance of providing these two options, to enable everyone the opportunity to support the people of Israel and feel a part of our global UIA family,” UIA NSW CEO Yair Miller said.

“We look forward to seeing you at our 2021 gala, whether it’s physically or virtually. We hope you will take up our offer and ensure our community comes together, to show our solidarity and unwavering partnership for our brothers and sisters in Israel.”

The in-person event option will be held in accordance with the current COVID-19 guidelines as outlined by the state government.

Tickets are strictly limited for each session and bookings are encouraged as soon as possible. There will be further announcements on guest speakers.
