A TOP line-up of performers took to the stage at the annual B’nai B’rith Night of Stars concert at the Glen Eira Arts Centre in Melbourne on Sunday, November 21.
Led by acclaimed concert pianist Alan Kogosowski, the entertainment ranged from classic music from violinist Jonathan Dreyfus, to comedy from Los Trios Amigos — Dr Jack Felman, Lena Fiszman and Allen Brostek — who reprised a scene from their recent hit show, Born Guilty.
Tomi Kalinski led the Melbourne Yiddish Choir in some Yiddish favourites, while sopranos Rita Satchakova and Emily Wang performed a selection of opera hits.
Producer Esther Gross said the annual concert in memory of Lotte Tenenbaum was a great success and raised money for B’nai B’rith projects in Israel.
